From a bird sanctuary in El Arroyazo, Dominican Republic, this chocolate is made smooth and lucious by Raaka. This is raw chocolate, so all those natural flavors are straight from the D.R. without any influence from roasting. Those earthy notes are exaggerated with the hint of cayenne pepper, but the bright, fruity, and tart notes are grounded with some dried cherries and raspberries. Making this bar well rounded like a nice glass of merlot.
